Hi,

I have just installed Stalker bundle in my Joomla 1.5.17, my website is http://www.gitr4biz.com.  I set the

module to be displayed at the right hand bottom corner as module name "Follow Me".  The module shows up

but I don't see the two logos (facebook and twitter) displayed in the module.

I setup two links in my component:

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=118841344817414

http://twitter.com/gitr4biz

and group them under a group name GITR.

In the module, I choose "Use database?" to yes and type in GITR in "Stalker Group id".  The rest default value.

What could be wrong?

/Cannon

Ok, got it work, change the "User Database?" in component to "No" and set the IDs below for facebook page

and Twitter.

Hi,

You were SO close!! :^)

While you could just use the Module with UseDB set to NO, the problem that you were having is that the Group Id is a numeric Id, not the Group Name that you've specified.  Try changing GroupId in the module settings to 1.

Groups are really only required if you want to set up more than one Module to display

All the best

That is the answer I was looking for :) tried to get the module to work typing the Group Name and nothing was showing up :(

Thanks a lot for a great module. Really apreciate your effort.

I'm having an issue with none of the component data showing up in the module if I want ALL links regardless of group to show. If I put in a single group ID, that one will work. It's not a big deal, as I've gotten it to work by lumping all my links into one group (not my preference), but I just wanted you to know the issue I've experienced with the Stalker Group ID parameter in the module.

Otherwise, this is an easy to use extension. Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response Tracy.

For all the icons to show up, and if you don't want them in groups, then you need to leave the group option as -none selected-  on each of your Social Links in the component.   Alternately, put them all in the same group, and enter the group id (Id number, not name) in the module.

Hope that helps!
