Hi,

 

I am builidng a Volunteer site and wish to implement a facility to allow a Volunteer to chat with an invited guest on the site at a pre-agreed time.

In addition to chat, we need to have the facility to have all chats recorded or a transcript stored,  and for us to the ability to view them for audit or any other issues.

 

Is this possible?

Hi, Unfortunately TalkToMe (in it's current state) won't work in this way. It doesn't have the ability to work at scheduled times, and I don't know if any of the networks log Guest chats. I know that the Google Talk chatback definitely doesn't store them. I can look further into adding this sort of functionality, but have you also checked out the Joomla Extension Directory to see if there are any extensions that work like this already? Regards Nick
