Well after a NINE week wait, my new MacBook Pro finally arrived yesterday. WOW!! These new laptops are amazing!! Big, but amazing. I've got the 17" widescreen model, and the screen is just huge. Beautiful! Talk about clever... it almost took my breath away when I turned the main light off in the lounge, and the MacBook automatically lit up the keyboad and dimmed the screen for me. Yup, it's smart too.
I've been working in the IT industry for 20+ years (and I still do web development whilst running the video store) and I've done my time with Windows and Linux. For the last five+ years I've been a full-time Mac user, I refuse to touch anything else, and this new machine just sets that decision in concrete. I love the way everything just works.. but then that's the first thing most people notice when they switch to Mac. None of that hunting down drivers etc...

Anyhoo.. now to get down to some serious work!!
