After a 3 year 'recharge break' from my main career in IT & Web development I'm looking at returning for some more technical challenges.
I never really stopped the web development work, I just stopped taking new work on. Instead I focussed on a new business, some new skills and a bit of fun, while maintaining some selected existing clients, and learning a few new tricks. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't pull myself away from the lure of computers and new products. I simply LOVE playing with, evaluating, and making best use of new technology.
So now it's back to the job search sites and looking for some challenging IT work again.
Whilst still maintaining ColdFusion sites, I've been moving more into PHP. Two of my larger clients have had their front-ends changed to PHP, and I'm currently converting the back-end. Since the beginning of the year, I've been doing a lot with Joomla, and am fairly comfortable at installing, setting up and maintaining Joomla sites. You'll see further down this page, I've also created a couple of Joomla extensions.
Ideally I'm looking at continuing to work from my home office and outsourcing my skills, although I wouldn't rule out a move to Brisbane!
If you have any requirements for PHP/Coldfusion coders, please feel free to contact me. I can a long list of clients and sample sites for any prospective 'clients' to look at. I will update my resume and add it to my site as soon as possible, in a nutshell:

- Good communicator at all levels (So I'm told)
- Famliar with XML & SOAP (my larger, existing, clients use these in order to communicate with external sources)
