Looking for Joomla Extensions?

Have you arrived here looking for my Joomla Extensions?

Head on over to this page...

Lets talk about me for a minute...

I’d rather not, but I couldn’t resist the line from an Alan Parsons Project song!

Yeah, that’s me, a few years ago!! Nowadays I’ve a bit more grey hair and a few more wrinkles. I’ll kid myself and say I’m like a fine wine, improving with age... YEAH RIGHT!! More like a big boy acting his shoe size!!

So in a few words.... Originally from the UK, I came to Australia in 1995. I worked in IT for a couple of years, before moving over to web development. In 1997 I became an Australian citizen, met an aussie lass in 2000, took a trip back to the UK in December that year, bought a house in June 2001 and married Dee at the end of 2001. Although I had a 6 year old step-son, in September 2002, the icing on my 30-something year old cake was born... Rosabella.

In 2004 we moved from coast to country, swapping town water & sewerage for tank water & a sceptic tank! It was an interesting time... never thought I’d see myself standing on the roof in the rain unblocking my own chimney, or going out and chain-sawing big branches to burn in the fire! We swapped 24x7 traffic to nothing but the sound of the wind in the trees and the odd moo from a cow, and dogs & birds for kangaroos & eagles!! It was like going back in time... no milko, post arrived in the arvo and NO mobile coverage. Even the nearest shop was 20 minutes away. It was GREAT!

Then in September 2005 I was given the opportunity to buy a DVD/Game rental store, and being two of my hobbies, I jumped at the chance. I added CD sales into the equation, and just about anything else I could think of that would save people a trip to the nearest ‘city’, DVD players, guitar strings, etc etc etc. Just in case you wondered... the Monkees in the site title refers to the shop... Three Monkees Entertainment!

Just before christmas 2005, we moved into town. It took a while to get used to the sound of traffic again, but for work, and school, it makes life a lot easier.

Bella's now in year 2 at the local public school, and she's still loving school. She's a social little lass! She’s still gorgeous, but a little challenging sometimes. Very playful, very cuddly, and keeps us entertained. She seems to have made use of the gene-pool, and has become quite a little artist. Her pictures just blow us away, and she's comfortable using computers and game consoles!!

Connor is now in year 8, although he moved down to Sydney at Christmas to live with his dad. It's been a good move for him. His guitaring is going really well and he's just saved up andbought himself a new Cole Clark Fat Lady (Good taste!)

So there we are, you’re pretty much up to date now... well, almost. Keep an eye on the blog for more up-to-date news!

Just thought I'd stick this in here... it's me being a total wanke goofball. And for the one or two of you that know me, you'll know that's fairly normal for me! :^)
